About 7th Littlehampton Air Scouts

For generations, 7th Littlehampton Air Scouts has provided young people in Littlehampton and the surrounding area with opportunities to learn new skills, build confidence, make lasting friendships, and experience adventure.

Based at our headquarters in Littlehampton, we welcome young people from across the local community, helping them develop valuable life skills through fun, challenging and rewarding activities. From camps and outdoor adventures to community projects, teamwork and badge work, our aim is to help every young person gain skills for life.

Since moving to our current headquarters in the early 1970s, the Group has continued to grow and evolve, supporting hundreds of young people on their Scouting journeys. Today, 7th Littlehampton Air Scouts remains a thriving and active Scout Group, led by a dedicated team of volunteers committed to providing exciting opportunities for local young people.

Part of a Worldwide Movement

Scouting began on 1 August 1907, when Robert Baden-Powell brought together 20 boys from different backgrounds for an experimental camp on Brownsea Island in Dorset. His vision was simple but revolutionary: to give young people opportunities to develop character, practical skills, confidence, and a sense of community through adventure and shared experiences.

What started as a single camp quickly grew into a global movement. Today, Scouting supports millions of young people around the world, united by the same values of integrity, respect, care, belief and cooperation.
