What are Cubs?

Cubs are young people aged 8 to 10½ who are full of energy, curiosity and a growing sense of independence. At 7th Littlehampton Air Scouts, our Cub Pack helps young people build confidence, develop new skills and take on bigger adventures.

Every week, Cubs come together to learn, explore and challenge themselves through a wide range of fun and engaging activities. It’s a welcoming environment where young people can make friends, discover new interests and achieve more than they thought possible.

What do Cubs do?

No two weeks are the same. Cubs enjoy a wide range of activities, including:

  • Outdoor adventures and exploring the natural world
  • Team games, challenges and problem-solving activities
  • Learning practical and life skills
  • Science, technology and creative projects
  • Community activities and helping others
  • Earning badges and awards
  • Camping, nights away and exciting day trips

Whether they’re learning a new skill, taking part in a challenge or exploring the outdoors, Cubs are always encouraged to try their best and have fun.

  • Led By: Friendly, trained volunteers who support and encourage every young person
  • Uniform: Green Cub Scout sweatshirt and the 7th Littlehampton Air Scouts necker
